Do you need couples counseling?

Does your relationship feel stagnate, or stuck? Is it hard to imagine going forward sometimes?  Do you ever feel like your partner doesn't get you? Do you worry about how your problems are affecting the kids? Does your marriage ever seem like a roller coaster of emotions?

Couples come to me for many reasons: betrayal, intimacy disorders, negotiating new boundaries, transitions, major changes in one or both individuals, grief & loss, communication struggles, and even separation or endings.

Relationships are difficult because they involve two individuals with unique temperaments, personalities, experiences, and family histories. These differences naturally come at odds with one another at times. Left unresolved, these conflicts and the feelings associated with them can lead to serious consequences including deteriorated physical health, an ugly divorce, depression, loss of sleep, addiction, loss of productivity at work, and perhaps worst of all: The direct impact on the kids.

How Couples Counseling can Help.

  • Transform your negative emotions such as rage, heartbreak, or disappointment through emotionally focussed therapy.
